"Cycling for Diabetes"... Wendy will attempt to cycle (solo) from Singapore to Malacca and back within 35 hours. The main objectives are to promote public awareness for diabetes and also to raise funds for the Diabetic Society of Singapore. The total distance there and back is approximately 500 km. A support vehicle (courtesy of Daimler Chrysler) will follow me throughout the journey to provide drinks, food, technical and medical assistance.

The project is supported by South West CDC, North East CDC, CDANS Country Club, Lions Clubs of Singapore District 308 A1, Lions Club of Singapore Metropolitan, Lions Club of Ayer Keroh Malacca and many other sponsors.
